Captain Dash, a French based Start-up that offers Data Analytics solutions to Marketers, has just released their tablet app on iOS. The app is completely free, and is simple and easy to use. Basically, if your company is on either Facebook, Twitter, or Google Analytics, managing all that data can be stressful. With Captain Dash, the app is able to aggregate all your real-time social media data and turns it into interactive dashboards, which are custom to the user’s preference. By pressing the plus button on the bottom left of the screen, you’ll be given the option to add Facebook pages, Twitter, Google Analytics, Foursquare and Microsoft Atlas accounts.
The trailer for the company gives away absolutely no secrets about what they are actually selling, which makes it seem perfect for a CMO to pick up on this and benefit from it greatly. There are 20 free data source connections offered, which still remains a superior offer when comparing with other companies marketing in this particular industry. This is based on a “freemium” model, whereby anything after 20 free data sources reverts to the premium model. The company has won the User’s Choice “Site of the Year” in 2012 at the Awwwards, as well as the IBM Smartcamp European Final.
The app was well received upon its launch on iOS back in April, featuring in the top 5 Business Apps in the French iOS Market.
