Reliance Jio Infocomm 4G LTE Broadband Deploys Network / Begins Testing in Delhi – NCR

Breaking NewsInfotel Broadband Services Ltd, a subsidiary of Mukesh Ambani Controlled Reliance Industries Ltd has began testing 4G / LTE Broadband Services in Delhi NCR which includes the Areas of Gurgaon, Dwarka, Faridabad, Noida, Okhala, Greater Noida, Dadri, Ghaziabad, etc] 4G / LTE services are being tested at 90+ locations in Delhi NCR Region. The Following Map Shows the coverage area of Reliance Jio Infocomm 4G LTE in Delhi NCR. In the Map for approximation we have used a Radius of 2 Km from the Tower Location as Coverage where Data Signals will be available with optimum efficiency. However, the actual throughput will vary from location to location.

So what is the Current Status of Airtel Vs Reliance Infotel 4G LTE ?
Airtel 4G LTE is Deployed and Running in ~3,000+ locations across the cities of Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and is being tested in Chandigarh. While Reliance Infotel has deployed mere 135 [Yes just one hundred thirty five] towers collectively in Mumbai & Delhi Region without any commercial launch.

Tell me one thing, at what mhz is reliance infotel operating 4g…and is it possible to use any LTE smart phone which is compatible with 800 and 1800 and 2600mhz in the near future in Bangalore. since i heard that at the moment airtel is operating at 2300…is there any chance for other spectrums….

    2. 1. RIL operates in 2300MHz band.
      2. In near future some operator might decide to deploy 1800MHz LTE in Bangalore provided they bid for 1800MHz spectrum. As you might know, GoI has been trying to auction the 1800MHz spectrum in Delhi, Mumbai, Karnataka and Rajasthan unsuccessfully since March 2012. Videcon is already launching LTE in 1800MHz in the circles that it won in March 2012 circles.

        Existing Operator can also launch LTE in 1800MHz if the Government Liberalizes Existing Spectrum by Collecting the proposed Fees. However, you all know how good is the Govt and its Honesty as we have already seen in 2G Spectrum Scam.

I am happy to know that Reliance Jio Inforcomm 4G/LTE Broadband Deploys Network in punjab in Patiala city.I am sorry to inform that the team which is deputed in the area is making hansum money from the clients for installation of tower on the premises. The team head Mr. Sandhu came to me for the tower space, to install on my sco in Patiala.After survey the building, he demaded Rs.50000/-as commision for maturing the deal, Which I decline the same. He is approaching everybody in the suitable place.So this type of corruption is going on.

    1. We don’t agree with you Mr. Virk. I was also approached by RIL 70 for the installation of reliance tower on my premises, I was never asked for any commission. Its sad that just out of jealousy or anger you are trying to bad mouth people. Before writing bad about someone it would be nice looking at yourself , that you wanted the tower on your premises and you offered the commission. Its very sad that our own people try to make things harder for each other. Its is a shame that this is how India rules.

  3. Mr Virk is trying to defame me, I selected his SCO, after no response of signing the agreement, I have to select another option which suits me best for my company. I want there should be an inquiry on this, I selected Jagjeet Singh Gill’s SCO, his no. is 9417022516, can ask him if I had asked any handsum money from him. There are other main area sites, where I have worked like site of Harinderpal Chandumajra & Leela bhawan area. My work represents me & I am very sorry for persons like Virk.

  4. Hi, i own an s.c.o 243 in urban estate phase-1, Patiala. My s.c.o. was visited by a team of reliance comprising of Mr. Sohrab Sandhu, Mr. Parth, Mr. Gurvinder Singh, Mr. Jadav, Mr. Rajesh Kumar for the purpose of installing the reliance network tower on the roof of my s.c.o. I was really impressed by their dealing which was done with immense honesty and dedication by the above named reliance team. I am glad that i am associated with such a hard working and a highly reputed team. The contract was entered into with utmost integrity and co-operation. Hope that our association continues to exist forever.
