At the end of the 2G Voice Tariff war, the cut has been deeper at Anil Ambani managed(mis-managed) Reliance Communications while the gainers have been Vodafone India and Idea Cellular. RCom has significant gap between subscriber and revenue market share compared to Tata DoCoMo / Indicom.
Airtel though has managed to maintain the highest revenue market share position, lead over Idea, Vodafone is declining. Idea Cellular is the Top RMS gainer in the last 3 years. BSNL is losing revenue as well as subscriber market share.
Amongst the new entrants, Aircel’s growth has slowed and revenue share lags subscriber share. Uninor is the most aggressive new entrant, has to acquire spectrum in auction to continue.
